Dr. Troy R. Shaw is an orthodontist in Missoula, Montana with satellite offices in both Ronan and Thompson Falls, Montana. He focuses on providing superior orthodontic treatment to children and adults. Dr. Shaw has been creating beautiful smiles since 1997.

After graduating from the University of Louisville School of dental Medicine at the pinnacle of his class, he completed General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He then completed a very competitive two-year, intense Orthodontic Specialty Residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo where he received his Proficiency in Orthodontics and a Masters Degree in Orthodontics.

He stays on the cutting edge of the latest advancements in orthodontics by maintaining memberships with numerous prestigious organizations. Dr. Shaw is actively involved in the American Association if Orthodontists as well as the American Dental Association. He has volunteered his time and served multiple positions, including President of the Montana State Orthodontic Society as well as President of the local chapter of the Montana Dental society.

One of Dr. Shaw’s greatest influences growing up was his own neighborhood orthodontist. He believes in giving back to the community. Dr. Shaw volunteers his time and resources to many causes and charitable organizations in the community and continues to strive to improve the lives of people in the communities in which he lives and serves.

Away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Erin and their two children, the outdoors, horses, and being at the lake.

Dr. Shaw has been in practice since 1997. He is one of the longest practicing orthodontists in Missoula. Dr. Shaw and his team have created over 6,000 beautiful smiles and counting! We serve the Missoula area as well as the Mission Valley and Sanders county by having satellite offices in Ronan and Thompson Falls.
